Thank you

Greetings Hopper Families!!

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving break this past week. We are so thankful for having you in our school, in our community, in our lives. Thanks for all your food contribution and the playdoughs for Caitlin Smiles. Holiday Shop was a success, thanks to the volunteers and teachers who were great examples of teamwork. A big shout-out to Missy Oswald, who organized this event for our kids. You are truly wonderful!! Poinsettia sale had many orders, thank you all! A special thanks to Natalie Gross who stepped up to help Amy DelCastillo with the paperwork. While on the "contribution" topic, did you know that this Tuesday after Thanksgiving is called Giving Tuesday? After two of the largest shopping day in the US, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday was created to cultivate generosity among people. There are many ways to give back to society, community, the world. Just something for you to think about.

PoW (PARENTS ON WELLNESS): Do you have a special interest in promoting school wellness? Would you like to evaluate the food choices offered at our school cafeteria? Are you interested in discussing health-promoting foods that could be added to our current menu? Do you know there are healthful choices that are delicious, cost effective, and remain within the nutritional guidelines that could be added to our menu? If you have an opinion and would like to promote nutritional health in our school, we want to connect with you! Please contact Chris and Cassandra Wenger at wengercd@doctor.com. Click here for the flyer with more information.
