Hello Hopper Families!
It's been a busy start to the school year! If it seems like it's hard to keep up, we are feeling that way too! Here are the highlights of all-things-PTO, coming soon!
Please have all SPIRITWEAR orders submitted by the end of the day on Friday, October 11th, using the link below. This is the last day to place an order. Orders arrive within 2-4 weeks after store closes.
We will have our first EARLY DISMISSAL of the school year on today, October 10th. Dismissal begins at 1:40pm. There will also be NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 11th and Monday, October 14th. Enjoy the long weekend!
TALL SMALL FALL BALL,: We've gotten a lot of questions about this event, and heard a lot of excitement! The concept is similar to a traditional mother/son, father/daughter dance, but we aim to be more inclusive by inviting students to bring any "tall" special adult in their lives for a night of fun. This is an all-new event which we have added to the calendar based on feedback in last year's family survey. This will be held on Thursday, October 24th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm, here at RES. This is a FREE event (food available for purchase). Adults do not need to have clearances to attend. Please register for this event at the below link. The flyer is also attached.
ELECTION DAY MOVIE - We're trying something new! Tuesday, November 5th is election day and therefore an early dismissal for all MTSD schools. If you are looking for a way to keep your kiddos busy, drop them off at Penn Cinema with us! Or, you're certainly welcome to stay, too. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
TURKEY TROT FESTIVAL - If you loved Reidenbaugh's Fall Fest, then you will love this event as well! On Saturday, November 16th, from 11am-2:00pm, join us for a "turkey trot" around the school grounds (this will be a fundraiser), and then on the blacktop for bounces, food trucks, and more. Information will be coming soon, but please mark your calendars because you won't want to miss it!
Attached are the minutes from the past PTO Meeting, that was held on October 1st. Our next one will be held on Friday, November 8th, at 9:30am, at RES.
Finally, Thank you to all the families who attended our Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser! We will post how much was raised when we receive that total. We appreciate the support!!!
